Nilkamal Becomes YAC's First Customer in India

We are proud to announce that Nilkamal Limited, one of India’s most recognized manufacturing organizations, has selected YAC (Your Attachments Connector) to support the synchronization of SAP documents and attachments into Microsoft SharePoint as part of its SAP S/4HANA journey.

This project marks an important milestone for Znk, as Nilkamal becomes our first YAC customer in India, further expanding our international customer base and demonstrating the global relevance of our approach to SAP document management.

Beyond the technology itself, this project has been characterized by an excellent collaboration between the Nilkamal team and Znk. From the earliest discussions through implementation planning, both teams shared a common objective: to modernize document management while preserving user experience, simplifying architecture, and maximizing the value of existing Microsoft 365 investments.

The Challenge Facing SAP Customers

Business documents are at the heart of virtually every SAP process — vendor and customer documents, purchase order and sales order attachments, material master and equipment documents, quality records, production documents, maintenance documentation, engineering drawings, certificates and specifications.

Over time, organizations accumulate millions of documents linked to SAP business objects, historically stored in SAP Content Server, third-party ArchiveLink repositories, external content management systems or custom solutions. Moving to S/4HANA, many SAP customers are asking whether they still need a dedicated SAP content repository, and whether SharePoint and Microsoft 365 could become their enterprise document platform instead.
